About Miyako
Miyako Dog Kimono was born from a simple wish - to make the irreplaceable moments with your beloved dog even more special.
For centuries — in some cases more than a thousand years — Kyoto’s traditional crafts have shaped Japan's cultural heritage. Delicate, elegant, and at times brilliantly radiant, these beautiful textiles are carefully transformed into timeless pieces for your dog.
Our pieces are created in collaboration with "Kano-ko", Nishijin-ori weaving company (Producer No. 440, Nishijin Textile Industry Association), "Tayu", Tango Chirimen weaving company and "Uketsugu Company KYOTO", Kyo-kanoko Shibori artisan, ensuring authenticity and exceptional quality in every product.
May every moment you share with your dog become a timeless memory.
For more information about the textiles we use, please see each section below.
