「京都的(テキ)スタイル」第二回開催に関するプレスリリースを公開しました

We have announced a press release for the second "Kyoto Style Textile"

We are pleased to announce that the second "Kyoto Style Textile" exhibition and sale event, which incorporates traditional Kyoto crafts into modern lifestyles, has been decided, and we have released a press release.

It will be held from Wednesday, May 20 to Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Cafe Gallery Tokijiku.

At this event, traditional Kyoto crafts such as Nishijin-ori, Tango-Chirimen, Kyo-Kanoko-Shibori, and Kyo-Yuzen will gather under one roof, proposing new value with the theme of "tradition that accompanies modern life."

This time, we will also welcome "Tsuyukusa," an Arimatsu Shibori brand, a traditional craft from Aichi Prefecture, allowing you to enjoy the charm of craftsmanship that transcends regions.

Miyako will also exhibit again, displaying and selling formal wear and accessories for dogs made from Nishijin-ori, Tango-Chirimen, and Kyo-Kanoko-Shibori.
This is an opportunity to feel traditional crafts closer through the familiar presence of your beloved dog.

At the previous event, many young people and international visitors attended, and we received comments such as "I want to incorporate this into my daily life" and "a new form of traditional craft."

Please take this opportunity to experience the new appeal of traditional crafts.
