Featured in The Nikkei

We are honored to share that loco y tanto Co., Ltd. (Miyako Dog Kimono) has been featured in The Nikkei as part of a special report on women entrepreneurs in the Kansai region.

The article introduces Miyako as one of the businesses founded by a female entrepreneur in Kyoto and highlights our mission and journey.

It shares the story of our founder, Airi Sakagami, who launched the company with the goal of preserving Kyoto's traditional crafts for future generations. The article also features our dog accessories made from authentic Nishijin-ori textiles and our experiences growing the business with the support of Kyoto's entrepreneurial community.

In addition, it highlights our participation in a women entrepreneurs' program organized by Kyoto Prefecture and the strong network of people in Kyoto who have supported our journey.

We are truly grateful to be featured in one of Japan's leading newspapers and would like to thank everyone who has supported Miyako along the way.

Miyako will continue to enrich the lives of dogs and their families while sharing the beauty of Kyoto's traditional craftsmanship with people in Japan and around the world.
